Farm Security
Well, ok, so they're not the best guard dogs in the world but
they do at least bark!  Every farm should have at least 2 dogs
running around finding things to get into and roll in!

Our dogs look forward to their evening swim in warmer
weather.  The two of them race the 4-wheeler at top speed
to see who can get to the brook first.  They then happily
chase any stick or rock that we will throw, splashing as much
as possible along the way.   This evening activity, of course,
eliminates any chance of catching a fish for several hours
but its well worth it.
HDC Midnight Cowgirl
"Noire"

AKC Registered German
Shepherd

Super sweet and coal black,
Noire came from Coffee Cup
Farm.   A more devoted dog we
have never had!  Despite her
size, she is convinced that she
was born to be a lap dog!  Very
protective of the kids, Noire can
be counted on to keep them
safe when they go for walks.

"Sprout"  AKA  "Bitty"

Pembroke Corgi

Sprout is unsure of what her
real name is....she was so small
when we got her that we called
her "Itty Bitty" and somehow,
"Bitty" stuck.  This pint sized
powerhouse regularly bosses
the big dog around and is
convinced that she weighs
100 lbs!  She delights in chasing
the cats around a bit and likes to
herd the chickens (with
supervision!)
